Please read this notice before linking RSI or syncing an organization or hangar.
Information accessed
Account linking reads your RSI handle and public profile. Organization sync reads only organization details, member handles, display names, ranks and roles visible to a signed-out visitor. Hidden and redacted members are excluded. Hangar sync uses the extension to read vehicle models, official names, item identifiers and sync timestamps for the RSI account currently signed in.
Purpose and storage
Records support identity verification, organization membership, vehicle management and fleet display. A public roster entry does not create a registered website account. Information is processed and stored by our Vercel-hosted website and Neon PostgreSQL database. Fleet display follows owner and fleet visibility settings. We do not sell this information or use advertising or behavioral analytics services.
Credentials and security risks
We do not collect RSI passwords. Your browser uses RSI cookies only for same-origin requests to RSI; they are not uploaded to Star Collection. We store password hashes and session information for our own accounts, and the extension stores a Star Collection sync credential. Do not share that credential. Networks, browser extensions and cloud storage can fail or expose data; absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Third parties and responsibilities
Star Collection is an unofficial community project with no affiliation to Cloud Imperium. It does not buy, reclaim, gift or upgrade RSI items. RSI terms restrict some automated access. Your acceptance is not CIG authorization, and we cannot guarantee that third-party tool use will be free from RSI restrictions. Website changes may cause failed or inaccurate syncs; RSI records remain authoritative.
Service limits and disclaimer
To the extent permitted by applicable law, this service is provided as available, without a guarantee of continuous availability, complete or timely synchronization, or absolute accuracy. Verify important records and sync only information you are entitled to access. This notice does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limit your statutory rights.
Stopping and data requests
You may decline and continue to browse demonstrations and public pages. Disconnect your browser in the extension popup, or verify and unlink RSI through Account → Manage link on this website. Unlinking deactivates imported vehicles, removes fleet assignments and stops their display; it does not immediately erase all historical records. For access, correction or deletion requests, use the developer contact on our Chrome Web Store listing.
Acceptance record
We store the notice version, acceptance time and interface language in your website account. Linking and scanning require acceptance of the current version. Material changes require renewed acceptance.
